In Part 1 we covered the first four seals of the four horsemen and established their purpose... to cause all to worship Antichrist.  Christians must choose to worship the Antichrist, or suffer martyrdom.

We also noticed how Jesus' Olivet Discourse follows, to a "t" the sequence of the first four seals as found in Revelation.  He continues to do so through the remaining seals.

Fifth Seal - Martyrdom and Apostasy

[5]  Rev 6:9-11  And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held: and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?  And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, UNTIL their fellow-servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

The fifth seal continues where the fourth left off (death).  In this seal, martyrdom is specifically mentioned versus the other forms of death that followed the rider of the green horse in the fourth seal.

This picture of the martyrs under the altar is symbolic of the suffering and anguish inflicted on those killed for the Word of God.

Zec 1:12  Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, HOW LONG wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years [70 years]?

Continue reading in Zechariah 1 and you'll see him reference the "four horns" which scatter Israel.

The soul is in the blood (Gen 9:4-5; Lev 17:11-14).  Jesus poured out His soul unto death.  It represents the suffering and anguish that He endured.  The blood of the sin offering was poured at the foundation of the altar (Lev 4:7).  In Solomon’s Temple there was a vast pit under the altar to receive the blood of the sacrifices.  Able’s blood cried from the ground, where it had been poured, etc., etc..

So this symbol of the martyrs are accounted by God as sacrifices on the altar.  Their suffering calls for vengeance... but it's not quite time - there are more martyrs to come yet.

Notice above that vengeance is near, but there are still "fellow-servants" to be martyred... Antichrist is enforcing his "comply or die" rule on earth and is about to decimate Jerusalem.

What are the next Words of Jesus in the Olivet Discourse?

Mat 24:9-13  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for MY NAME'S sake [martrydom defined] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (Mar 13:9-13; Luk 21:12-19)

And because iniquity shall abound, THE LOVE OF MANY SHALL WAX COLD.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

There's the apostasy spoken of by Paul.  It's the "falling away" that must come FIRST:

2 Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day SHALL NOT COME, except there come a falling away [G646 - apostasia, apostasy] FIRST...

Perfect match to the fifth seal.

Brief Interlude

Here is where we find additional information in the Book of Revelation, Daniel, etc..  I'll likely be adding more references, etc. to this blog in the future.  There's a lot of information outside of the Revelation and the Olivet Discourse.

All of these events begin during the fifth seal and before the opening of the sixth seal.

The two witnesses come on the scene for 3.5 years (Rev 11:3).  They are killed towards the end of those years (Rev 11:7) and their bodies are left in the streets for 3.5 days (Rev 11:9).  God brings them back to life (Rev 11:11) and they ascend to Heaven in a cloud in front of their enemies (Rev 11:12).

Satan and his angels are cast from Heaven to the earth (Rev 12:9; Joh 12:31; Dan 12:1) and Satan will deliver his power (Rev 13:2-4) to his earthly agent (Antichrist) to continue for 3.5 years (Rev 13:5).

The woman flees into the wilderness for 1,260 days to be nourished by God (Rev 12:6; Rev 12:14; Eze 20:35-36).  See Mat 24:15-16 below.

The woman is chased after, but Satan is defeated and turns his anger on the remaining Israelites in Jerusalem (Rev 12:15-16) who are "keeping the precepts of God and who have the testimony of Jesus" (Rev 12:17).  Israel is persecuted (Rev 12:13) because from her Jesus was born (Rev 12:13).
___________________

The apostasy is in place and the next thing which must happen is the abomination of desolation will be seen in the Holy Place.

2 Th 2:3-4  ... and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

We're not quite ready for him to be revealed.  Luke brings us a piece of information that neither Matthew or Mark revealed:

Luk 21:20  And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh [near].

When we see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, the desolation is near.

The next words of Jesus are:

Mat 24:15-16  When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet [Dan 9:27], stand in the Holy Place, (whoso reads, let him understand:) then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:

Jerusalem will be attacked and crushed.  Many will be killed and imprisoned until "the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled" (Luk 21:24; Rom 11:25).

Rev 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Now, I can't be dogmatic about this, but from the time that siege of Jerusalem starts and its captives are imprisoned could very well be this ten days mentioned above in Rev 2:10.

Jerusalem will be decimated, prisoners captured, and this victory over Jerusalem will lead to Antichrist sitting in the Holy Place.

Is the ten days of Rev 2:10 a clue as to how "nigh" the desolation is of Luk 21:20?  Is it a clue as to how soon after Jesus will catch up His Church?

Anyway, Luk 21:22 tells us that "these be the days of vengeance" and Jerusalem shall be trodden under for 3.5 years (Luk 21:24; Rev 11:2).

This is the midpoint of Daniel's 70th week... the Great Tribulation period of 3.5 years is officially underway.  This will be the most widespread persecution of Christians and the Jews that the world has ever known.

Dan 12:1  Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time...

Dan 9:27  And he [Antichrist] shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [7 years]: and in the midst of the week [3.5 years] he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease [in the Temple of Jerusalem], and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

We're told that unless Jesus cut these days short, none of us would survive:

Mat 24:21-22  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Mar 13:19-20)

Notice that at this point we're still here.  Jesus warns again to not be deceived (Matt 24:23-28; Mar 13:21-23) for He is coming soon.  Antichrist is given the power to make war with and overcome the saints and all that dwell on the earth (Dan 7:25; Rev 13:7).

The return of Jesus for the catching away of His Church is about to come...

Sixth Seal - Celestial Disturbance

[6]  Rev 6:12-14  And I beheld when He had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the [a] sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and [b] the moon became as blood;  And [c] the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, [d] even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.  And [e] the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Here is the sign we've been waiting for.

Jesus tells "immediately AFTER the tribulation of THOSE days" the celestial signs as noted in the sixth seal will occur.

Mat 24:29-32  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall [a] the sun be darkened, and [b] the moon shall not give her light, and [c] the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of [e] the heavens shall be shaken:

And THEN [not quite yet] shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And He shall send his angels with a [f] great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now learn a parable of [d] the fig tree... (Mar 13:24-28; Luk 21:25-27)

This is not quite time yet though...

Mat 24:33  So likewise you, when ye shall see ALL THESE THINGS, know that it is near, even at the doors. (Mar 13:29; Luk 21:31)

Luk 21:28  And when these things BEGIN to come to pass, then LOOK UP, and LIFT UP YOUR HEADS; for your redemption draws nigh [near].

This is going to happen in the "twinkling of an eye":

1 Cor 15:51-52  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for [f] the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Act 2:20-21  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There are many more passages that deal with this event, but we don't need to cover them now.

The only other thing I want you to notice is "then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn" (Mat 24:30).

Rev 6:15-17  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

When the world sees Jesus coming, they'll know it's too late.  Fear will consume them to the core.  It will be as in the Days of Noah.  The door to the ark will have been closed and the floods are about to come as described by Jesus:

Mat 24:37-39  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.

No more chance for salvation by Grace through Faith.  That's it... the door has been closed.  Everyone from here on out will be judged according to their works.

There's something else we know about the "days" of Noah also... they were in the ark for exactly 1 year and 10 days.  Keep that in mind for a future blog.

Mat 24:40  Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Before proceeding, I want to mention that I believe this is also near the point in which the 144,000 are sealed.

John says "After these things [the six seals] I saw..." (Rev 7:1).

The 144,000 are 12,000 from each of the tribes of Israel.  They are "celibates, virgins, firstfruits" (Rev 14:4).  The tribes of Levi and Joseph replace Dan and Ephraim because the latter introduced idolatry into Israel (Deu 29:8-16; 1 Ki 12:28-30; Hos 4:17).

Notice in Rev 7:1 there are four angels holding back the wind so that nothing on earth would be harmed UNTIL they are sealed (Rev 7:3).  I believe this is the calm before the coming "wrath" storm which we're about to see the start of.

These 144,000 are sealed so that no harm comes upon them during God's Wrath on the earth.

John then says "After this I beheld..."

Rev 7:9-10  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Who are they?

Rev 7:14  ... these are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Chapter 7 is a good one for you to read the entirety of before proceeding.

Which brings us to...

Seventh Seal - Wrath

[7]  Rev 8:1  And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven about the space of half an hour.

More than likely this half hour of silence is to give reverence to our Father and His Son upon our redemption.  You'll notice in verses 3-4 the prayers of the saints ascend up to God.

It could also be just a complete silence in all of Heaven in reverence as Jehovah is about to unleash His long-awaited wrath upon the earth.

This silence, precedes the Day of the Lord as noted by Zephaniah:

Zep 1:7  BE SILENT before the Lord GOD!  For the day of the LORD is near, For the LORD has prepared a sacrifice, He has consecrated His guests.

Rev 8:2  And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

The most important thing to notice here is that it is only now, after the completion of the seventh seal being opened, that the seven angels are given their trumpets.

They do not sound them yet.

Some claim that the trumpet and bowl judgments are concurrent with the seals.  This is the only verse needed to show that belief to be wrong.

The trumpet judgments follow the opening of all seven seals, and as we'll soon see - the bowl judgments follow the conclusion of the trumpet judgments.

The saints are with Jesus.  We were not appointed unto wrath... we have been caught up into our glorified bodies and are now with Jesus.

It would appear that at the end of this half an hour of silence is when the angel cast fire upon the earth - signaling the beginning of God's wrath upon its inhabitants.

Rev 8:5  And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake (see Joe 2:1-15).

While this signals the beginning, the first trumpet has not blown yet.

Rev 8:6  And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

That is where the seven seals comes to a conclusion!

Notice in the Olivet Discourse that Jesus didn't mention a single trumpet or bowl judgment.  The answer is clear.

He was speaking directly of the seven seals and the pre-wrath rapture of His Church before God unleashes His Wrath upon this earth.

As seen in these two blogs, the harpazo does not occur until after after the sixth seal has been opened and the seventh seal is under way.  Christians will see a good portion of Daniel's 70th week.  We will see the abomination of desolation setup in the Temple in Jerusalem before Jesus comes for us but we will not see the sounding of the first trumpet of seven... not from earth anyway!

More later on the trumpet and bowl judgments.

Some of these excerpts are from my personal notes copied from 30+ years of studying... some of these notes are direct copies of various sources - I do not claim to have authored every word of this... it's just a mass collection I've tucked away over the years for my own personal studies... I didn't consider a bibliography at the time I directly copied small excerpts from various authors.  Also, any emphasis (underlines, bold text, all CAPS, etc.) noted above was only meant to capture my personal attention as I studied...

Rev 5:1  And I saw in the right hand of Him [God the Father] that sat on the Throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with SEVEN SEALS.

In an earlier blog, "The Day of The Lord" I briefly touched on what the church refers to as the rapture.

The intent of this blog is to show the absolute perfection of God's Word and how Jesus, Himself spelled out the seven seals, in the perfect order in which they're found in the Revelation.

Jesus did so in what theology refers to as His "Olivet Discourse" concerning the coming affliction.

Mat 24:3  And as He [Jesus] sat upon the Mount of Olives, the Disciples came unto Him privately, saying:

Tell us, when shall these things be?  And what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world [G165 - aion]?

It was no coincidence that Jesus spelled out the events in the exact order of the seven seals as found in His Unveiling (Revelation).  Not only that, but later I'll write about how the letters to the seven Churches also follow along exactly.

It is my belief that the opening of these seals signals the beginning of Daniel's 70th Week.  This is the "beginning of birth pangs" as Jesus described:

Mat 24:8  But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

This is referring to the first 3.5 years of Daniel's 70th week (see Isa 26:16-19).

Before starting, please note that the seven trumpets, and seven bowl Judgments do not occur until AFTER the seventh seal has been opened.  I will cover those in another blog, but do not let that confuse you... these events found with the seven seals are all consecutive and occur BEFORE the remaining Judgments.

The seals represent what Satan is attempting to accomplish against mankind... the seals have nothing to do with God's wrath on mankind.

Daniel and Revelation

Daniel 7:8-10 describes the scene prior to Jesus taking the scroll with the seven seals which match the description found in the Revelation.

[1]  Thrones for Elders (Dan 7:9; Rev 4:4)

[2]  Throne for God (Dan 7:9; Rev 4:2)

[3]  God's appearance (Dan 7:9; Dan 10:6; Rev 1:14; Rev 4:3)

[4]  Throne's appearance (Dan 7:10; Rev 4:5)

[5]  God's attendants (Dan 7:10; Rev 5:11)

[6]  The Scroll (Dan 7:27; Rev 6:1)

[7]  Transfer of the Kingdom (Dan 7:27; Rev 11:15)

[8]  Extent of the Kingdom (Dan 7:14; Rev 11:15)

The horses and their riders, of the first four seals do not ride until just after Antichrist arises.  This will come about as a result of the events found in Daniel 8.  Iran will invade the Middle East, Turkey will counter-attack and then this empire will be broken up into four nations ruled over by Turkey.  Antichrist will arise out of one of these four... more about that in another blog.

Antichrist will not accomplish all of this on his own.  He has his right-hand man, the false prophet:

Rev 13:12  And he [false prophet] exercises all the power of the first beast [Antichrist] before him...

Also note that the false prophet and his unholy ministry is also perfectly unfolded in these four horsemen.

[1]  Signs and lying wonders (Rev 13:3-4)... white horse.

[2]  Warfare and bloodshed (Rev 13:4)... red horse.

[3]  Mark of the beast (Rev 13:16-17)... black horse.

[4]  Established Religion (Islam) brings persecution (Rev 13:15)... green horse.
______________________

Jesus, alone is able to open the Seals.  He takes the book from our Father (Rev 5:7) and opens the First Seal:

First Seal - White Horse

[1]  Rev 6:1-2  And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.  And I saw, and behold a WHITE HORSE: and he that sat on him had a bow [G5115 - toxon; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering [G3528 - nikao], and to conquer [G3528 - nikao].

To start with, there are many points we could dive into on just these two verses.  I don't want to get too carried away in this blog.  I may create new blogs to discuss the details of the riders and the horses later.

For now, I only want to show the comparisons with Jesus' Olivet Discourse.

Some claim that the rider of this "white horse" is Jesus Himself.  They would be wrong.  Jesus does come on the scene later, and He is riding a White Horse (Rev 19:11) but this is not our Lord.

Personally, I believe the rider of this white horse is none other than the Mahdi of Islam.  In fact, Muslims themselves directly attribute the passage above to their Mahdi.  More about that in another blog.

Everything Satan does is an anti-reflection of Christ.  The rider of this horse is Satan's anti-reflection... the coming Antichrist and his role at this time is deception.

The first thing we notice is that this rider has a bow [G5115 - toxon].  It's Hebrew equivalent is [H7198 - qesheth].

The first use of this word is found in:

Gen 9:13  I [God] do set My bow [H7198 - qesheth, bow, archers, arrows] in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

This is a picture from Noah's flood of God hanging up His weapon and entering into a new covenant.  We see the representation of His bow and His covenant when it rains... the rainbow (Gen 9:14).

The bow of the rider represents the same exact anti-thing.  The rider of this horse will set his bow aside and create a covenant of deception... peace!

Dan 9:27  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week [Daniel's 70th week]...

Next, we see that this rider is given a crown.  (See Zec 6:11-13)

Remember when I said that Antichrist will be a anti-reflection of Christ?  The rider of the white horse will deceptively appear as Jesus, or a messiah figure and will be both the religious and political leader at that time.

Next we see that this rider will go forth conquering to conquer [G3528 - nikao].

This is not a military phrase.  This is speaking of a Spiritual conquering.  The Greek word nikao is usually translated in Scripture as "overcoming" (Rom 12:21; Joh 16:33; 1 Jn 5:4).  Many will be Spiritually deceived by Antichrist!

One of the cool things about this passage is the use of the word nikao.

If you'll recall, Jesus writes letters to the seven Churches.  To most He says "to he who overcomes [G3528 - nikao]".  That's not even the cool part!

Rev 2:15  So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

The Nicolaitans are only mentioned in the Revelation.  Looking at the meaning of the two Greek words used in constructing the name "Nicolaitans" we find what may be a code word for those who follow Antichrist!

nikao (overcomes) + lao (people of God).

The Nicolaitans are those who overcome the people of God!

The picture is complete... the rider of this white horse is Antichrist.  He carries a false peace treaty, his crown and white horse show that he is trying to appear as a type of messiah in place of Jesus, and he comes to Spiritually overcome the people with the aid of the false prophet.

I don't intend to cover each of the other three riders in this much detail, but this is the one we are to be watching for.

First let's look at the false prophet:

Rev 13:13-14  And he [false prophet] does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast [first beast, Antichrist]; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Now... let's see how Jesus answers the Disciples question concerning:

Mat 24:3  ... when shall these things be?  And what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world [G165 - aion]? (Mar 13:4; Luk 21:7)

The first thing Jesus says:

Mat 24:4-5  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (Mar 13:5-6; Luk 21:8)

Perfect match to the first seal.

Second Seal - Red Horse

[2]  Rev 6:3-4  And when He had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.  And there went out another horse that was RED: and power was given to him that sat thereon to TAKE PEACE from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

The purpose of the rider of the red horse is to cause war, bloodshed, and chaos.  He is a peace-taker.

Muslims will have an incredibly successful jihad.  What is the purpose of this warfare?

Rev 13:4  And they worshiped the dragon [Satan] which gave power unto the beast [Antichrist]: and they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like unto the beast?  Who is able to make war with him?'

The power of Antichrist will be incredible, as will his military prowess.  All of this will cause the broken will of the people to worship him in fear.

This is exactly why Jesus specifically instructs us to "not be frightened" when the red horse rides!  Luke uses the word [G4422 - ptoeo, terrified].

What are the next Words of Jesus in the Olivet Discourse?

Mat 24:6-7a  And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled [G2360 - throeo, frightened]: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: (Mar 13:7-8; Luk 21:9)

Perfect match to the second seal.

Third Seal - Black Horse

[3]  Rev 6:5-6  And when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a BLACK HORSE; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny [G1220 - denarion, denarius], and three measures of barley for a penny [G1220 - denarion]; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

The purpose of the rider of the black horse is to cause famine and economic collapse.

The false prophet will institute the mark of the beast.  This mark will allow the inhabitants of the earth to provide for their families.  You won't be allowed to buy or sell anything without this mark... including food, shelter, etc.

Not only that, but food prices will sky-rocket... notice the small amounts of food above and their pricing.  The KJV translates the price as "penny" which is very unfortunate as it changes the intent of this verse.

A denarius was a common coin in the Roman world of John's day and was equivalent to a worker's wage for one days work.  The amount of food able to be purchased for this price is barely enough to sustain one man, let alone his whole family.

Rev 13:16-17  And he [false prophet] causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The purpose of this mark is to cause all who take it to worship the Antichrist.  If you accept this mark, you accept the provision of the Antichrist.

What are the next Words of Jesus in the Olivet Discourse?

Mat 24:7-8  ... and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Perfect match to the third seal.
________________________

Fourth Seal - Green Horse

[4]  Rev 6:7-8  And when He had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.  And I looked, and behold a PALE [G5515 - chloros, green] HORSE: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell [G86 - hades] followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts [G2342 - therion] of the earth.

The purpose of the rider of the green horse is to cause death.

First note that "pale" is another unfortunate translation from our KJV.  There is nothing "pale" about the color of this horse.  The Greek word [G5515 - chloros] is where we get our English word chlorophyll which is the green pigment we find in plant life.

This is the only place that this word is translated as "pale" throughout Scripture.  Elsewhere it is always translated as "green" and is used alongside "grass".  This horse in NOT pale... it is GREEN.

Also note, that the Greek word [G2342 - therion] is used 30 times in the Revelation and is always used in reference to either the Antichrist or the false prophet.  This green horse and rider will kill with the sword, famine, pestilence - "death under the authority of the "beasts" (plural)"... Antichrist and the false prophet.

Eze 14:21-22  For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

It's no small wonder the the rider of this horse is presented as death followed by hades.  Isaiah tells is this concerning Israel:

Isa 28:15  Because you have said, "We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol [hades] we have made a pact.

The covenant mentioned above is the covenant signed by Israel and the Antichrist.  It is this covenant that Antichrist will break at the midpoint of Daniel's 70th week.  The green horse will be involved in breaking this covenant!

Notice that power is given to them over 25% of the earth.  This will likely be first enforced in the Middle East which is center stage for all of this.

The false prophet will enforce all to accept the mark and worship the Antichrist before the image (abomination of desolation) or be killed.  There will be a "convert or die" policy put into place.

Rev 13:15  ... and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

All of these works are orchestrated by Satan.  Satan cannot stop the scroll from being opened and he knows that his "time is short" (Rev 12:12) so he will take down as many Christians as he can.

All of these works will also play into the "falling away", or the "apostasy" that Paul speaks of:

2 Th 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day SHALL NOT COME, except there come a falling away [G646 - apostasia, defection, revolt, apostasy] FIRST, and THAT man of sin [Antichrist] be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

What are the next Words of Jesus in the Olivet Discourse?

Mat 24:9  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for My Name's sake. (Mar 13:9; Luk 21:12-13)

Perfect match to the fourth seal.

Notice how Jesus hasn't missed a beat, or a sentence of which would vary from the description, and order of these seals in Revelation.

Purpose of the Four Horsemen

The purpose of the four horsemen are to get the inhabitants to worship Antichrist.

You can see above how they will accomplish this.

First, the rider of the white horse will create doubt in the minds of Christians through Spiritual deception.

Second, the rider of the red horse will create "shock and awe" through military victories giving credence to the false idea that God must be on the side of Antichrist.

Third, the rider of the black horse will cause famine and economic collapse in order to provide.  Any and all who worship the beast will find provision of food, clothing, and shelter.  Christians who refuse the mark must rely on God for their provision.

Fourth, the rider of the green horse will enforce "convert", or "comply or die".  We will have to choose Antichrist, or death.

These won't be literal horses with literal riders... they are symbols of how Satan will attempt to accomplish his mission:

White horse - DECEPTION
Red horse - FEAR
Black horse - PROVISIONAL NEED
Green horse - DEATH

It is at this point, we find a difference in the remaining seals.

I will cover those in Seven Seals - Part 2

Some of these excerpts are from my personal notes copied from 30+ years of studying... some of these notes are direct copies of various sources - I do not claim to have authored every word of this... it's just a mass collection I've tucked away over the years for my own personal studies... I didn't consider a bibliography at the time I directly copied small excerpts from various authors.  Also, any emphasis (underlines, bold text, all CAPS, etc.) noted above was only meant to capture my personal attention as I studied...

Why Suffer Loss?

Why is it important to pay attention to the details?

Why is it important to set your indoctrination aside?

Why is it important to stop and think on these things - to examine your own doctrinal beliefs?

Christendom has been programmed so deeply with these false doctrines that it's almost impossible to correct these false indoctrinations.

Christians don't want to hear that they've been lied to... they don't want to hear that their beliefs have been wrong all these years... some would just rather bury their heads in the sand than to put any effort into:

Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether THOSE THINGS WERE SO.

Does it really matter if you believe in hell, or not?

Does it really matter if you believe in the trinity?

Does it really matter if you believe in the false story of "Lucifer's" origin?

Does it really matter if we believe in the Salvation of all?

Does it really matter if we don't understand what the Lake of Fire is?

Why do you think I'm investing my time in these blogs?

Because it MATTERS to God and it should MATTER to us!

God WARNS us against...

"Adding to" or "taking away from" His Word (Rev 22:10-18)

We are to rightly "divide" God's Word (2 Tim 2:15-18)

We are to "...distinguish the things that DIFFER" (Php 1:10)

...and have a "PATTERN OF SOUND WORDS" (2 Tim 1:13-14)

... for "The Words of the LORD are pure Words" (Psa 12:6)

Also, we are to shun the "TRADITIONS OF MEN" (Col 2:8)

...and the "WISDOM OF THIS WORLD" (1 Cor 1:20 & 1 Cor 3:19)

... and to "EXPOSE those who CONTRADICT" (Tit 1:9)

1 Tim 4:10-11  For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the Living God, who IS the Savior of ALL MEN, especially of those that believe.

These things COMMAND and TEACH.

Why does it matter?

If we believe that Jesus died on the Cross to only save a few... isn't that a different Gospel, than one that says His willingness, and act of obedience was to save ALL of mankind as God has commissioned Him to finish what our Father had started?

Do we devalue His actions by claiming that He was only able to save a few of the world?

He set aside His Heavenly glory to come in the flesh, He took those stripes, He suffered anguish and tears in the Garden of Gethsemane, etc., etc., etc..

Was it all in vain if He was only able to save a few?

Is He able to rightfully claim the title of "Savior of the world" in which He was commissioned by His Father to accomplish, if instead only a few of the world are saved?

How can we justify such "good news" to anyone yet proclaim that Christ only died for the righteous?

How is it "good news" if God TORTURES the majority of His creation endlessly in Christendom's hell?

How is that GOOD NEWS?

How is that GOOD NEWS?!!

Scripture after Scripture claims that Jesus IS the Savior of ALL of mankind, yet Christendom refuses to believe it.

They would rather cling to their blasphemous doctrines.

2 Pet 2:1  ... EVEN denying the Lord that bought them...

In doing so, they blaspheme our Holy Father, they diminish the actions of Christ and preach another Gospel.

Do you really believe God is going to let this slide?

Are they going to be able to stand in front of God and tell Him that He is wrong and those people should burn forever?

How do you think our Loving Father feels about such accusations against Himself and His only Begotten Son?

How do you think He feels about His absolute Sovereignty being diminished by some man-made doctrine of the trinity in which He is not Sovereign alone, but three co-equal persons in one?

Which Father is it that Christendom worships?

The ONE and True Jehovah, or the three-in-one special?

Which Jesus is it that Christendom worships?

The One who lived and died, and lives again for only a few, or the One who successfully accomplished His mission of SAVING the WORLD?

The One Who finished the work that His Father gave Him to complete... or the One who failed in that mission?

When Jesus said "it is finished", Christendom claims it only applies to them.

Why does it matter if you understand where Satan comes from?

Was he really some perfect archangel known as "Lucifer" that decided of his own free-will to revolt?

If that were true, then God's creation slipped out of control, and somehow He is unable to correct that slip-up after the fact.  God didn't see that coming?!

God doesn't EVER say "oops"!

You can't know who you're fighting against if you don't know who it is in the first place!  Yes!  It matters!

God created Satan intentionally as His adversary to teach us... to destroy our carnality... to bring us closer to Him and His Son!

Doesn't Christendom diminish God's perfect plan, and His wondrous works by claiming any different?

Yes!

All of these things MATTER!  I will continue to write blogs until my fingers bleed because these things MATTER to me, and they matter to Jesus and our Father!

They matter to US in this life, and they will matter when you stand in front of your Creator.

You cannot simply bury your head in the sand once you read these blogs.

When you stand in front of Jesus, He will remind you that you were warned.

Why?

Because it MATTERS to Him!

Why does Christendom even want to believe in these blasphemous doctrines?

Why do they cling to these things so dearly?

Why would anyone desire to SUFFER LOSS?

1 Cor 3:11-15  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones [Godly character traits], wood, hay, stubble [carnal character]; every man's work [beliefs, words, deeds] shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall SUFFER LOSS: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by FIRE.

Jesus asked a rhetorical question:

Luk 18:8  ... when the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?

What kind of faith?  Which Jesus?  Which Father?

Because...

Mat 22:14  For MANY are called, but FEW are chosen.

Mat 7:13-14  Enter ye in at the strait [narrow] gate: for wide [broad] is the gate, and broad [spacious] is the way, that leads to destruction, and MANY there be which go in thereat:

[Why do they go through the broad gate?  Because it's the easier path!  It's the path of least resistance!]

Because strait [narrow] is the gate, and narrow [cramped] is the way, which leads unto life, and FEW there be that find it.

Do you really believe that Jesus is going to find billions of Christians, as found in modern Christendom when He returns?  His question is rhetorical and the answer is: NO.

The religions of the world ALL pretty much believe similar things!

Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD...

Almost the entirety of Christendom ALL believe in the basic tenets of which I'm trying to put an end to!

Christendom has been DECEIVED!  They've believed the LIES!

Luk 21:8  And He said, Take heed that you be NOT deceived: for MANY shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: go you NOT therefore after them.

Many have come in His Name!  Many are here NOW claiming to be here in His Name!  They even boldly claim that Jesus IS the Christ!  You can find them in every town across America and the globe.

These are Satan's ministers that preach these blasphemies against the Father and His Son!

2 Cor 11:14-15  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be TRANSFORMED as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Where do they come from?

From almost every Bible College across America!  They almost ALL teach the exact same blasphemous doctrines to the future preachers of America and the globe!

2 Tim 4:3-4  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they HEAP TO THEMSELVES teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the Truth, and shall be turned unto FABLES.

2 Pet 2:1-2  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there SHALL BE false teachers AMONG YOU, who privily [secretly] shall bring in damnable [destructive] heresies, EVEN denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

And MANY shall follow their pernicious [destructive] ways; by reason of whom the way of truth SHALL BE EVIL SPOKEN OF.

Are you part of the MANY or the FEW?

Believe me... as you know, I have separated myself and my family from the MANY.

Rev 18:4-5  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, COME OUT OF HER [today's religious system!], MY PEOPLE, that ye be NOT partakers of her sins, and that ye receive NOT of her plagues For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

My beliefs are shared by only a few... if I'm wrong (which I'm not), at least I haven't blasphemed EVIL against my God and my Savior.

Yes... it matters.

While waiting for Jesus, what does He say about His Church?

Mat 25:5  While the bridegroom tarried, they ALL [both the wise and the foolish virgins... they ALL] slumbered and slept.

Do not suffer loss any longer.
