Intentional Deceit

In each blog, I often reference many different topics that I've already covered (or will soon cover), and maybe you've missed.  Please review my blogs to read more...

1 Cor 11:19  For there MUST BE also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

Does Satan have the power to make subtle changes?

Read my previous blogs... God created Satan for this very purpose and gave him power over this world.

Surely NOT when it comes to the English translators of God's Holy WORD though?!

Really?!

If I were Satan... those translators, and authorities, would be the first people I looked for... to whisper in their ears... to make a simple suggestion, etc.

Which small words could he change that might make the largest impact on the biggest Christian doctrines?

After all... the future of Christendom will come to depend on this "translation"!

You can either choose to bury your head in the sand and cling to your pagan indoctrinations...

OR...

You can be set free to His Truths!

Scripture does not contradict until we get into our English translations, and below you will find a few examples of "contradiction" created by intentionally deceitful translators!

Psa 12:6  The Words of the LORD are pure Words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

I guarantee you, David isn't talking about some of the English words used by the translators!

Translators are God themselves?

In each passage below you will witness the intentional deceit of the KJV translators in an effort to cling to their own theological ideals concerning the doctrine of "hell", "immortality of the soul", and etc. .

There is only ONE Who is the True Judge, and only ONE Who will pronounce Judgment in Righteousness and Truth... that is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

For these translators to twist the English into their own pronouncement of judgment is something they WILL answer for one day.

That is EXACTLY what they're doing when they proclaim "damnation" on anyone in their translations!  It is NOT theirs to proclaim even if hell were true!

The irony is found in their translated verses... by distorting the English translation, the individual verses themselves often pronounce their own judgment which will come!

Definition:
damned, adj [1] (in Christian belief) condemned by God to suffer eternal punishment in hell.

dam-na-tion[1] (in Christian belief) condemnation to eternal punishment in hell.

____________________

Every single passage below should be translated as "JUDGMENT" instead of "DAMNATION".

Apparently, the translators just thought they would save God some time and pronounce judgment for Him.

Mat 23:14  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation [G2917 - krima].

Mar 12:40  Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation [G2917 - krima].

Luk 20:47  Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation [G2917 - krima].

People often left their whole fortune to the temple, and a good deal of the temple money went, in the end, to the Scribes and Pharisees.  What a shocker!

The Scribes were universally employed in making wills and conveyances of property.  They obviously abused their influence with widows.

Rom 3:8  And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come?  whose damnation [G2917 - krimais just.

Rom 13:2  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation [G2917 - krima].

1 Cor 11:29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation [G2917 - krima] to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

Vincent's Word Studies:
This false and horrible rendering has destroyed the peace of more sincere and earnest souls than any other misread passage in the New Testament. It has kept hundreds from the Lord's table.

1 Tim 5:12  Having damnation [G2917 - krima], because they have cast off their first faith.

Again - should be translated as "judgment" against these young widows... not damnation!

[G2917 - krima]  Thayer Definition:
[1]  a decree, judgments

[2]  judgment (2a) condemnation of wrong, the decision (whether severe or mild) which one passes on the faults of others (2b) in a forensic sense (2b1) the sentence of a judge (2b2) the punishment with which one is sentenced (2b3) condemnatory sentence, penal judgment, sentence

[3]  a matter to be judicially decided, a lawsuit, a case in court

Used 28 times in the NT.

Translated as:

judgment (12); condemnation (5); avenged (1); condemned (1); judgments (1); law (1)

damnation (7)

Mar 16:16  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned [G2632 - katakrino].

What does Scripture tell us concerning unbelievers?  They shall be JUDGED at the second resurrection to the Great White Throne JUDGMENT.

Vincent's Word Studies:
A most unfortunate rendering. The word is a judicial term, and, as Dr. Morison truthfully says, “determines, by itself, nothing at all concerning the nature, degree, or extent of the penalty to be endured.

Rom 14:23  And he that doubteth is damned [G2632 - katakrinoif he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Now doubters are damned to hell?!  Ridiculous!

[G2917 - katakrino]  Thayer Definition:
[1]  to give judgment against, to judge worthy of punishment (1a) to condemn (1b) by one’s good example to render another’s wickedness the more evident and censurable

Used 19 times in the NT.

Translated as:

condemned (8); condemn (7); condemnest (1); condemneth (1);

damned (2)

2 Th 2:10-12  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned [G2919 - krino] who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This should read: "all might be judged who believed not the Truth".

Rather than consistency, the translators thought it would be "ok, if we pronounce judgment for God".

Robertson's Word Pictures:

Condemnation is involved in the fatal choice made. These victims of the man of sin did not believe the truth and found pleasure in unrighteousness.

[G2919 - krino]  Thayer Definition:

[1]  to separate, put asunder, to pick out, select, choose

[2]  to approve, esteem, to prefer

[3]  to be of opinion, deem, think, to be of opinion

[4]  to determine, resolve, decree

[5]  to judge (5a) to pronounce an opinion concerning right and wrong (5a1) to be judged, i.e. summoned to trial that one’s case may be examined and judgment passed upon it (5b) to pronounce judgment, to subject to censure (5b1) of those who act the part of judges or arbiters in matters of common life, or pass judgment on the deeds and words of others

[6]  to rule, govern (6a) to preside over with the power of giving judicial decisions, because it was the prerogative of kings and rulers to pass judgment

[7]  to contend together, of warriors and combatants (7a) to dispute (7b) in a forensic sense (7b1) to go to law, have suit at law

Used 117 times in the NT.

Translated as:

judge (45); judged (26); judgeth (9); determined (7); judgest (6); called (2); condemned (2); esteemeth (2); law (2); question (2); at (1); avenged (1); concluded (1); condemn (1); condemneth (1); condemning (1); decreed (1); ordained (1); sentence (1); sue (1); thought (1)

damned (1)

Mat 23:33  Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation [G2920 - krisisof hell [G1067 - gehenna]?

Thomas Nelson tells us that Jesus used "Gehenna as a symbol for HELL".

Thomas Nelson doesn't know his nose from his elbow!

Jesus consistently used Gehenna as the Jews knew exactly what Gehenna was a symbol of... JUDGMENT!

How did they know?  It was a consistent theme throughout the Hebrew Scriptures as found in the Valley of GeHinnom which IS THE GREEK GEHENNA!

In just this ONE example, if the translators would've remained true to the texts, this would be clearly seen!

"how can ye escape the JUDGMENT of Gehenna?"

But, nooo... their precious doctrine of eternal torture in hell had to be substantiated!

Joh 5:28-29  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation [G2920 - krisis].

Once again, translators acting as though they are Judge and jury!  The above should read:

"resurrection of Judgment"... which is the Truth!  They will be resurrected to Judgment at the Great White Throne Judgment at the conclusion of the Millennial Reign!

[G2920 - krisis]  Thayer Definition:
[1]  a separating, sundering, separation (1a) a trial, contest

[2]  selection

[3]  judgment (3a) opinion or decision given concerning anything (3a1) especially concerning justice and injustice, right or wrong (3b) sentence of condemnation, damnatory judgment, condemnation and punishment

[4]  the college of judges (a tribunal of seven men in the several cities of Palestine; as distinguished from the Sanhedrin, which had its seat at Jerusalem)

[5]  right, justice

Used 48 times in the NT.

Translated as:

judgment (39); accusation (2); condemnation (2); judgments (2)

damnation (2)

2 Pet 2:1-2  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable [G684 - apoleiaheresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction [G684 - apoleia].  And many shall follow their pernicious [G684 - apoleiaways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Little did the translators know, they were prophesying of their own demise above by translating this word as "damnable".

Their intentional deceit through translation, and their precious belief in their doctrine of "hell" ARE "damnable heresies" as far as I'm concerned!

As much as I would like to use this verse against their type, as I'm sure their intent was to point their crooked finger at someone like me who denies their destructive doctrine "hell", I cannot in good faith to His precious Word use their translation of "damnable" heresies.

Nonetheless, they are "destructive heresies", and MANY SHALL, and DO follow "their destructive ways".

2 Pet 2:3  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment [G2917 - krima] now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation [G684 - apoleia] slumbereth not.

First notice how the translators decided against "whose DAMNATION now of a long time lingers not".  It the exact same word they chose to translate as DAMNATION on other occasions... but guess what?  It won't fit in their theological box this time.

Properly translated it should read: "judgment from long ago is not idle".

This should also read: "their destruction slumbers not".

[G684 - apoleia]  Thayer Definition:

[1]  destroying, utter destruction (1a) of vessels

[2]  a perishing, ruin, destruction (2a) of money

Used 21 times in the NT.

Translated as:

perdition (8); destruction (5); waste (2); die (1); perish (1); pernicious (1); ways (1)

damnable (1); damnation (1)

Immortality of the soul

Christendom teaches that when one dies, they do not really die - they instantly find themselves in the afterlife in one of two places... Heaven, or hell.

God told Adam, "you shall SURELY DIE".  The Serpent then said to Eve, "you shall NOT SURELY DIE".  The serpent directly contradicted God.

I cover this in detail in my blogs "Whence Hell? - Part 8" and "Egyptian Fables".

Ecc 3:20  ALL are going to one place...

When we die - we are DEAD... our bodies return to the soil, God's Spirit returns to Him, and we (our soul) are in the state of death which is hades - the "unseen", the "imperceptible", and there we all stay until the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus.

Below is an example of the KJV translators attempting to prove their belief of an "immortal soul" and Christendom tries to use this verse all the time in vain.

Luk 23:43  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

There are no commas in the original language!  Suppose the translators would have moved the comma over one word:

Luk 23:43  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee To day, [<--- comma] shalt thou be with me in paradise.

In other words, Jesus said:

"Today, I am telling you - one day, you will be with Me in Paradise."

Jesus didn't go to Paradise that day... neither did the thief!  Even the thief knew what was going on when he specifically asked... "WHEN You come into Your Kingdom Jesus... remember me".

See my blog "Whence Hell? - Part 8" for details on this passage and death in general.

There is NO such doctrine of "immortality of the soul" throughout the entirety of Scripture.  There is also NOT a single verse which says when we die we will be instantly with our Lord... not a SINGLE verse.
___________________________

Joh 11:26  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

If you have e-Sword, you can see that the word translated above as "never" is the translation of three Greek words (eis ton aiona), not just one.

Does it really take three Greek words to represent our English word "never"?

No it doesn’t and the translators knew it!

The Greek word oudeic means "not ever, none, nought" as in when Peter said to Jesus,

Mat 26:33  I will NEVER [G3762 - oudeic] be offended.

This word is translated "never" dozens of times in Scripture.

How then should those three words have been translated?

CLV  Joh 11:26  And everyone who is living and believing in Me, should by no means be dying for the eon.  Are you believing this?

YLT  Joh 11:26  and every one who is living and believing in me shall not die--to the age;

In other words, the gift of aionion life brings an end to physical death for believers... when that aion comes to be.

We are promised aionion life... life in the next two aions: the Millennial Reign and the New Heaven / New Earth aion.  The immortality we're given takes us beyond those aions for the rest of the story!

The translators knew exactly what they were doing.

I'm telling you... the KJV translators HATED having to deal with that one little Greek word aion.  So much so, they left it completely out of John 11:26.

Trinity Doctrine

The doctrine of the trinity... being God in three co-equal persons is not supported by Scripture whatsoever and I cover this topic in detail in my blogs: "Holy trinity is wholly UN-Scriptural.

It is a man-made false doctrine that should not be taught anywhere within Christendom.

But... since there's very little Scriptural support, maybe the translators could ADD a little something to the Scriptures that might help support their blasphemous beliefs.

1 Jn 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, [1] the Father, [2] the Word, and [3] the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The words (above) in blue... are NOT Scripture and they should NOT be in ANY Bible.

Those words in blue are NOT contained in ANY Greek Manuscript which was written earlier than the 15th century.  Nor, is it cited by ANY of the Greek ecclesiastical writers, or early Latin Church fathers.

It should read:

1 Jn 5:7-8  seeing that three there are that are testifying [G3140 - martureo], the spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three are for the one thing.

If you look to the footnotes in your own Bible, you'll likely see this recorded.  If not, research it yourself - this is a well known fact and has been known about for a long time.

The verse above is dealing with baptism not some fabled trinity!

For the record, those three also "testify" [G3140 - martureo] in the crucifixion of Jesus.

When Jesus gave His Spirit back to The Father, what happened?

Joh 19:34-35  But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.  And he that saw it bare record [G3140 - martureo, testified], and his record is true: and he knows that he saith true, that ye might believe.

Lucifer?

While this one, may not be "intentional", most of the world believes that "Lucifer" is a name for Satan because of the KJV translation.

I say it may not be intentional because in this case, it may have been a simple mistake.

Mistake, or not... theologians have convoluted all sorts of false doctrine on this mistake!

What a difference a Hebrew "yode" ("i'—iota) makes. We dare not leave out the iotas.

Jesus said:

Mat 5:18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot [iota] or one tittle [yod] shall in NO WISE PASS from the law, till all be fulfilled.

A "jot" is a Greek "iota" and in Hebrew a "tittle" is a "yod", which is the very smallest stroke in a Hebrew letter. And just how important are those little iotas?

The difference between the absence of "i", or the presence of "i", is the reason why, we have the Lucifer problem!  Don't forget to "dot your "i's" and cross your "t's"!

Isa 14:10-11  All they shall speak and say unto thee [king of Babylon], Art thou [king of Babylon] also become weak as we?  Art thou [king of Babylon] become like unto us [mortals, not gods from Heaven]?  Thy [king of Babylon] pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy [king of Babylon] viols: the worm is spread under thee [king of Babylon], and the worms cover thee [king of Babylon].  How art thou [king of Babylon] fallen from heaven... O Lucifer... ?!?

What is this?  How can, the king of Babylon, the king of Babylon, the king of Babylon, the king of Babylon, the king of Babylon, the king of Babylon, the king of Babylon, the king of Babylon (made reference to eight times in two sentences), suddenly turn into "Lucifer" in the middle of a sentence?

And where are we ever told, in the entirety of Scripture, that "Lucifer" is a proper name for Satan?

I cover this issue in detail in my blogs entitled "Lucifer".

Lucifer is NOT a name for Satan, and don't believe any of the false doctrine associated with these passages.  It's a HOAX!

Lucifer did not change his ways was the perfect archangel and decide to start a revolt against God!  That's absolutely ridiculous!

God created Satan as His adversary intentionally!  Satan was a murderer, and a liar from the beginning!  God created the waster to destroy!

See my blogs on Lucifer and Satan for more details.

Does the world end, or not?

Try explaining these two translations:

Eph 3:21  Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

The KJV translators know full well and good that the Greek language has a word for "world"... it's [G2889 - kosmos].

Guess what?  They ADDED the word "world"... there is no kosmos in the original text.

Does that contradict Jesus?

Mat 13:39  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world [G165 - aion]; and the reapers are the angels.

It certainly contradicts if you believe in the English translation of the KJV!

Which is it?  Does this world end, or not?

How do these passages look in a literal translation (Young's Literal Translation) of the original language?

YLT  Eph 3:21  to Him is the glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen.

YLT  Mat 13:39  and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is a full end of the age, and the reapers are messengers.

How about even more literal?

CLV  Eph 3:21  to Him be the glory in the ecclesia and in Christ Jesus for all the generations of the eon of the eons!  Amen!

CLV  Mat 13:39  Now the enemy who sows them is the Adversary. Now the harvest is the conclusion of the eon. Now the reapers are messengers.

Outright DECEIT!

They HATED that word aion and they do it at the expense of creating blatant contradictions of His Holy Word.

If they would've been honest with His Word, guess what?

No more contradiction whatsoever.

Does Jesus Reign forever AND ever?

Answer: No.

Rev 11:15  ... The kingdoms of this world [G2889 - kosmos] are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever [G165 - aion] and ever [G165 - aion].

Wow... HOW did the KJV translators get away with this one?

We see the "world" translated correctly this time from kosmos, and now the Greek noun aion means "forever" and also "ever", but no longer "world"?!  WHAT?!

More importantly, doesn't this one verse in the Revelation conflict with what Paul said?

Paul said that Jesus will hand over His reign to the Father...

1 Cor 15:25-28  For He [Jesus] must reign, UNTIL He hath put all enemies under His feet.  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.  For He hath put all things under His feet.  But when He says all things are put under Him, it is manifest that He is excepted, which did put all things under Him.

And when all things shall be subdued unto Him, THEN shall the Son also Himself be subject [G5293 - hupotasso, subordinate, to be under obedience] unto Him [The Father] that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

Christ does NOT reign "forever and ever".  He gives up the Kingdom to His Father and His reign ceases as the Father becomes ALL in ALL.

Jesus reigns for the eons of the eons... the final two eons of ALL eons.

So... when we read proper translation of Rev 11:15 the contradiction goes away:

The kingdom of this world became our Lord's and His Christ's, and He shall be reigning for the eons of the eons!

Inconsistency

God's Inspired Words are deliberate.

For example, does "white" mean white, or does it sometimes mean "black"?

The Greek words aion and aionion occur 199 times in the New Testament.

Look at all the different words the KJV translators came up with (occurrences are shown in parentheses) for the Greek word aion:

ages (2), course (1), world (40), ever (72), never (7), evermore (4), eternal (2).

"Never"?!

Are you kidding me?!  That's the direct opposite of eternal!  How did they get away with that one?

Now - aionion:

everlasting (25), eternal (42), world (3), ever (1).

In the Old Testament they translated one Hebrew word, sheol as:

"grave" (31 times) and...

... as "hell" (31 times)...

... and as "pit" (3 times)...

Which is it?!  Is it hell, the grave, or a pit?

I'm going to show you why they chose "grave" INSTEAD OF "hell" in upcoming Part 2.

They intentionally chose grave because those verses would crush their doctrine of hell if they translated sheol as "hell" in those verses!
_______________________

Smoking Gun

In previous blogs I go into detail concerning sheol, hades, gehenna, and tartaroo.

For now, I just want to give you a couple of examples of outright DECEIT by the KJV translators.  In part 2 of "Intentional Deceit" I'm going to look at every single instance of their deceit when concerning their doctrine of hell.

The following is what I consider to be ABSOLUTE proof of intentional deceit by the KJV translators and desperate so-called "theologians".

1 Cor 15:55  O death, where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory?

Excuse me… Oh grave?!

Eleven (11) times the Holy Spirit inspired the Greek word hades to be used, and ten of those eleven times the KJV translates hades as "hell".

But in this only solitary verse of 1 Cor 15:55, they translated it "grave".

Do you know why?

I’ll tell you why.

Because theologians wanted to protect their pagan doctrine of eternal punishment in hades at all cost, even if that meant fraudulently being inconsistent with the Greek word hades.

The translators did not want the people to know that there is "victory" over their un-Scriptural pagan hell, that’s why!

Read it again:

"O death, where is your sting? O grave [hades] where is your victory?"

Can you imagine the controversy if they would have translated it as "hell" eleven out of eleven times?!

"O hell where is your victory?"

They knew exactly what they were doing and if you don’t believe me by now, then you may be more stubborn than me!

There’s no way they could have fit this into their own Theological box if they would have translated this verse to read "hell" as they did the other ten times.

Time and time again... I’ve shown their dishonesty and this example alone should be enough to convince anyone of their dishonesty.

God has allowed these things to happen for a reason... just as Jesus only spoke in parables to the multitudes, the Truth is like a treasure HIDDEN in a field... we MUST go out and find it.  Dig for it...

1 Cor 11:19  For there MUST BE also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
