Today's "Church"

[1]  The english definition of the word "hell" / the concept of "hell / eternal torment" didn't exist until long after [~725AD] the contents of Scripture had been written.  This concept is blasphemous.

[2]  Very few people understand what the Lake of Fire actually is - mostly because of the intentional deceit noted above in #1.  They don't understand "why brimstone?" and fire, etc., etc.

[3]  Judgment versus Damnation (and intentional translator deceit) [G2917 - krima], etc.

[4]  The Trinity doctrine is man-made and completely unscriptural.  Yeshua is the parakletos.

[5]  "Eternity" is a foreign word in the original language.  Explain, "forever and ever"... this translation leaves out the importance of the different "ages" [aion; aionian].  We're not promised "eternal" anything... we're promised immortality.

[6]  Christianity completely ignores the importance of the coming resurrection of the saints.  They prefer immortality of the soul...

[7]  Satan is not a once "perfectly created" "fallen angel" and his name was never Lucifer.  YHWH "created the waster to destroy" (Is. 54:16) and YHWH "created evil" (Is. 45:7).  To suggest otherwise, is to suggest Satan decided on his own, and created himself.

[8]  Most preach and teach a "Tim LaHaye" view of the rapture (pre-trib) and are doing nothing to prepare Christians for end-time events which are upon us.

[9]  Today's "Church" is all about inclusion and making everyone feel good... they all fit in, regardless of their sin.  They should be preaching of walking daily with Yeshua, relationship, repentance, and preparation for the coming Kingdom.  When Yeshua said "I never knew you..." - He was speaking to "Christians" who thought they were "in".

[10]  This one should really be at the top of this list.

Christendom misses the mark on the overall Gospel in my view.  They're all about the first coming of Yeshua, the crucifixion and the resurrection, the NT Church, etc.  All very important, but, they rarely preach on the overarching message of the entirety of both the OT and NT Scriptures which began in Genesis 3:15.

The Kingdom Gospel is almost always overlooked.  The Day of the Lord is coming when all judgment will pour out onto this wicked world, and Yeshua is returning to earth to restore all of creation!  Israel will be restored in Israel - it is their land and they are His people.  He will keep His promises with Israel.  That is the end goal... this is THE message of Scripture!

We are not going to Heaven - we will be reigning and ruling with Yeshua here on earth during the Millennial Reign and in the coming AGE [aion].

I could go on and on about this, but seriously... when was the last sermon you heard on this topic?
