The Rapture - Events During and After the Millennial Reign

Events During and After the Millennial Reign

These are those who do not belong to Yeshua. The rapture, the first resurrection, includes all of those who belong to Yeshua including the martyrs of Revelation 20:4.

It says “the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were ended”. This is the second resurrection of the dead and encompasses:

[Joh 5:29 LSB]  ... those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

Satan was bound at the beginning of the Millennium: Revelation 20:3 “…and threw him into the abyss, and shut him up, and sealed over him, that he should not still lead astray the nations, until the thousand years are fulfilled.”
... but will be released for a short season at the end of the Millennium:

Revelation 20:7-10 (LITV) "And whenever the thousand years are ended, Satan will be set loose out of his prison, [8] and he will go to mislead the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to assemble them in war, whose number is as the sand of the sea. [9] And they went up over the breadth of the land and encircled the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. And fire from God came down out of Heaven and burned them down. [10] And the Devil leading them astray was thrown into the Lake of Fire and Brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet were. And they were tormented day and night to the ages of the ages."

Where does this army, “whose number is as the sand of the sea” come from? At the beginning of the 1,000 years Yeshua destroys massive amounts of people at the battle of Armageddon. We know that some on earth survive the Great Tribulation period. They’re mentioned in the separation of the sheep and goats, in Zec 14:16-21, Isa 2:2-4, etc.

We are told, in Scripture, that some will still not accept Yeshua during the 1,000 year reign. Repopulation is occurring during the 1,000 year reign and we're told above that the second resurrection occurs at the end of 1,000 year reign.

I can't be dogmatic about this, but we're told that the wicked, from all of history up this point, shall "live again". Is it possible that they're resurrected to life, on earth, prior to the Great White Throne Judgment? I don't know at this point... I'll just the thought here for now. Either way, we're told that this is a massive amount of people “whose number is as the sand of the sea”.

After this… the Great White Throne Judgment (as detailed earlier in Revelation 20:11-15).

Revelation 20:6 (LITV) "Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years."
